MAGISTRATES have fined a motorist for driving without insurance.

Daniel Salter, 34, admitted committing the offence while driving a Volkswagen Golf in Fratton Road, Fratton, Portsmouth. Salter, from Vita Road, Portsmouth, was fined £200 by Fareham magistrates. He was told to pay £15 to a fund for crime victims and £60 in court costs. Six points were added to his driving licence.
