A MAN has been jailed for handling stolen goods.

Martin Campbell, of Fawcett Road, Southsea, admitted handling a stolen bike in Albert Road, Southsea, and to causing criminal damage to a door at Centralpoint in Kingston Road, Portsmouth.

The 28-year-old also pleaded guilty to failing to surrender to custody at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court.

The crimes were committed between May 14 and September 4.

Campbell was sentenced to 21 days in prison by Portsmouth magistrates.

No order for costs or compensation was made as Campbell was handed a custodial sentence.
