DRINK-DRIVER Stephen Rockett has been banned from the roads.

The 31-year-old, of Holcot Lane, Anchorage Park, Portsmouth, admitted committing the offence while riding a Suzuki GSXR motorbike in Dundas Lane, Copnor, Portsmouth.

A test revealed his blood contained 93 milligrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres.

The legal limit is 80mg.

Rockett was fined £120 and told to pay £15 to a fund for crime victims and £85 in court costs.

Magistrates sitting in Portsmouth banned him from driving for a year.
