A MOTORIST was caught driving while twice the legal alcohol limit.

Matthew Crowle admitted driving a Citroen Saxo in Monmouth Road, Portsmouth, after drinking too much.

A test revealed the 29-year-old’s breath contained 94 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres. The legal limit is 35 mcg.

Crowle, of Howard Road, Portsmouth, was fined £200 and told to pay £15 to a fund for crime victims and £85 in court costs.

He was banned from driving for two years by Portsmouth magistrates.
