A MURDER victim’s fine has been withdrawn by a court.

The News revealed this week that Christina Jewell, 53, was fined £200 for not having a colour TV licence – four months after she was found dead in her flat in Quinton Close, Somers Town.

A TV Licensing spokeswoman said: ‘We notified South and South East Hampshire Court, which manages the administration for Fareham court, as soon as we became aware of this sad and tragic case.

‘The case has now been withdrawn.’
