Portsmouth player Anton Walkes apologises for '˜serious error in judgement' after being fined for driving while banned
In a statement issued by Portsmouth Football Club after his court appearance this morning, Walkes said: '˜I would like to apologise to the club and supporters for this serious error in judgement.
'˜I have accepted my punishment and want to learn from this experience to grow as a person.

The club is set to deal with the matter internally.
It comes after he was stopped by police on October 20 driving his £35,000 Mercedes '“ despite having been banned in the summer.
He was banned in June after failing to provide a specimen of breath to police.
