POLICE are hunting for a convicted robber who is believed to be in Portsmouth.

Officers are searching for 41-year-old Michael John Warlow, who was convicted of robbery in July 2014, and who was recalled to prison this month on October 15.

Warlow has links to Portsmouth. As well as being convicted of robbery, he is a suspect for offences including theft, assault, criminal damage, and making threats to kill.

PC Helen Cox, said: ‘Mr Warlow is believed to still be in Portsmouth and I would ask anyone who sees him not to approach him as he is currently a suspect for an assault offence.

He is described as white, 5ft 10in, and of medium build with dark brown hair. Officers say he may also have short grey stubble or a beard.
