SHOPLIFTER Lewis Williams has been given a conditional discharge.

Williams, 24, from Tennyson Road, Copnor, Portsmouth, admitted stealing two tops worth £52.50 from a Marks and Spencer store in Portsmouth on February 24.

He was given an 18-month conditional discharge and told to pay £85 in court costs when he appeared at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court.
