SHOPLIFTER David Heard has been given a conditional discharge.

Heard, 37, of Cumberland Street, Portsea, admitted stealing a remote-controlled helicopter from Model Zone in Commercial Road, Landport, Portsmouth.

He was given a 12-month conditional discharge and told to pay £85 costs by Portsmouth magistrates.
