A TEENAGER has been remanded in custody for carrying out a burglary.

Robert Cox broke into a flat in Albert Grove, Southsea.

The 18-year-old stole a Dell laptop, an X-Box and games during the raid on October 11.

Cox, of Cheltenham Road, Paulsgrove, Portsmouth, pleaded guilty to burglary when he appeared at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court in December.

He was initially released on bail to allow time for a pre-sentence report to be done.

But he was remanded in custody after failing to stick to a curfew, which was part of his bail conditions.

Cox is due back in court on Thursday.
