AN 18-YEAR-OLD who stole a £600 bike has been let off with a conditional discharge.

Lewis Jones, of Lincoln Road, Fratton, took the bike from Northarbour Spur, Cosham.

He pleaded guilty to theft when he appeared at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court.

The magistrates handed him an 18-month conditional discharge and ordered him to pay £85 in court costs.
