THIEF Stuart McKenzie has been told to pay compensation.

McKenzie, 32, of Montague Road, in Portsmouth, admitted stealing two steam irons from BHS at the Cascades in Portsmouth.

The offences happened while he was subject to a conditional discharge.

He was given a 12-month conditional discharge and told to pay £200 compensation to the store by Portsmouth magistrates.
