MAGISTRATES have fined a woman for growing cannabis.

Samantha Price pleaded guilty to a charge of producing four plants of the class B drug at her home in Shorehaven, Paulsgrove, Portsmouth, when she appeared at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court.

The 36-year-old was fined £100, ordered to pay £15 to a fund for crime victims, and pay £50 in court costs.

An order was made for the cannabis to be forfeited and destroyed under the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971.
