SERIAL shoplifter Amanda Gruber has been given a conditional discharge.

The 51-year-old admitted stealing cosmetics worth £22.50 from Boots in Westbury Mall, Fareham, on April 21.

She also pleaded guilty to stealing a £95 dress from Monsoon in Westbury Square, Fareham, on the same day.

And she admitted stealing £46 of clothes from New Look in High street, Cosham, between April 17 and 21.

Gruber, of Sandown Road, Wymering, Portsmouth, was given a six-month conditional discharge by Fareham magistrates.

She was also told to pay £50 in costs.
