A WOMAN has appeared in court over an attempted murder.

Karen Hanley is charged with one count of attempting to murder Sarah Mullings between January 1 and Sunday.

Hanley, 36, of Eastern Road, Portsmouth, appeared at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court on Monday and was remanded in custody.

She is due to appear at Portsmouth Crown Court for a preliminary hearing on January 12.
