A WOMAN who assaulted a police officer in the execution of her duty has been ordered to stay in at night.

Trudy Hutchings, from Hayling Avenue, Baffins, Portsmouth, pleaded guilty to committing the offence in the same street on June 7.

The 25-year-old was given a curfew order stating that she must not leave her home between 6pm and 6am daily for six weeks.

Hutchings was also ordered to pay £75 compensation to her victim.

She must pay a £60 to a fund for victims of crime.

However no order for costs was made at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court.
