A WOMAN who set fire to a bin will get help after the court heard she has mental health issues.

Amanda Walker pleaded guilty to arson at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court after setting fire to the bin near her home in Queen Street, Portsea.

The magistrates heard Walker, 46, was seen on CCTV setting fire to her own papers.

Prosecutor Graham Heath said there was no risk of harm to anyone.

She will have six months of supervision from the probation service.
