A DRINK-DRIVER caught behind the wheel while four times the legal alcohol limit has been jailed.

Ruth Schroeder, of Wycote Road, Gosport, admitted committing the offence while driving a blue Nissan Micra in Privett Road, Gosport, on August 24.

A test revealed her breath contained 158 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 milliltres - four times the 35mcg limit.

She was jailed for 12 weeks and banned from driving for three years by Fareham magistrates.
