AN INVESTIGATION has been launched by police after a man was stabbed.

The victim, 38, was taken to hospital with a stab wound to his side after being attacked in Linden Road, Bognor.

His injuries were not thought to be life-threatening following the attack, which happened just before 11pm on Saturday.

Detective Sergeant Alan Pack of West Sussex CID said: ‘This investigation is still at an early stage and I would ask anyone with information about this to contact us. The circumstances suggest there is no increased danger to the public but we have arranged further reassurance patrols in that area.’
