AIMING to bring wild flowers and meadows into parks, a project is back for the third year.

The Going Wild project, started by Fareham Borough Council in 2012, aims to support wildlife by bringing flowers and meadows into green spaces and parks.

And today residents will have the chance to find out more about the wild meadow that has been planted at Sarisbury Cricket Club’s Allotment Road Recreation Ground.

Executive member for community Councillor Connie Hockley said: ‘The Going Wild project has proved very successful. Residents will be able to receive free seeds to take away.’

The free event starts at 1pm.
