SHOPLIFTER Kim Johnson has been jailed.

The 25-year-old was arrested for stealing clothes worth £80 from New Look at the Bridge Shopping Centre in Portsmouth.

She was released on bail and went on to take £190 of clothes from Marks & Spencer in Commercial Road.

Johnson, of Hyde Park Road, Southsea, pleaded guilty to two charges of theft when she appeared at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court.

The magistrates heard she had previous convictions for theft and had ignored community orders in the past.

Johnson was jailed for 65 days.
