Pupils have been told to remain vigilant after a man exposed himself to a member of the public near their school.

The incident, which happened near Bishop Luffa School in Chichester shortly before 3pm yesterday, has been reported to the police.

The school, on Bishop Luffa Close, sent a note to parents from Sarah Weaden, the director of pupil
welfare.

It said: ‘Dear parent, please be aware of an incident which occurred just before the end of school today.

‘A man exposed himself to a member of the public near the mini roundabout on the junction of Sherborne Road and Westgate.

‘The incident has been reported to the police but if your child walks/cycles to school, the advice is to ensure they do so with a friend and remain vigilant.’
