REGIONAL: Police seek man after woman falls from third-floor window

Hampshire Police have issued a CCTV picture of a man they are seeking after a woman fell from a third-floor window.

The victim, who in her 20s, was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries. Police say that, more than a month after the fall, she remains in hospital in a serious but stable condition.

Dectives issued the picture saying they wanted to talk to the man about the woman’s fall from a third floor flat in Salisbury Street, Southampton on Saturday, Feb 11 at around 10.45am.

A police spokesman said: ‘He was seen in the area of Salisbury Street around the time of the incident and we believe he may be a valuable witness and could assist us with our investigation into what happened.’

Detective Sergeant Bryan Carter said: ‘We would like to identify this man to help us with the investigation into what happened on the morning of Saturday, February 11 at Mede House on Salisbury Street.

‘We believe this man could help us understand the circumstances surrounding this incident and we would like to speak with him as part of this investigation and eliminate him from our enquiries.

‘We believe this man has links to Southampton, London, and Poland. Do you know him? Or furthermore, is this you? Please contact Hampshire Constabulary.’
