WHERE: Arundel Street, Landport

WHEN: Saturday December 10, 2.45pm

WHAT HAPPENED: Yousef Torino, 19, has been charged after an altercation with police and a chase through the city centre. Torino, of no fixed abode, was charged with posession of cannabis and has been bailed until January 3.

WHERE: Solent between Gosport and Cowes

WHEN: Saturday December 10

WHAT HAPPENED: Coastguard teams searched the area after lifeboat volunteers found two illuminated torches floating in the water. An eight hour search took place but nothing was spotted.

WHERE: Locks Heath Shopping Centre

WHEN: Saturday December 10, 5.25am

WHAT HAPPENED: Burglars broke in the McColl’s shop to steal cigarettes. The burglars smashed a window to get into the store. Cigarettes were stolen from the shop in a similar incident in December last year.

WHERE: Priorsdean Crescent and Timsbury Crescent, Havant

WHEN: Monday December 12, 11.30-1.30pm

WHAT HAPPENED: Two houses were burgled, with two men being spotted leaving the home in Priorsdean Crescent. Police are encouraging people to see their website on how to keep houses safe.

WHERE: Braishfield, near Romsey

WHEN: Monday December 12, 12.20pm

WHAT HAPPENED: Fire crews from Fareham and Portchester helped deal with a thatched cottage fire. No one was at home at the time and the cause is being investigated.

WHERE: Gosport Road, Peel Common, Gosport

WHEN: Monday December 12, 3.30pm

WHAT HAPPENED: A 13-year-old cyclist suffered serious injuries after he was knocked off his bike. The ambulance service said he was kncoked over by a car travelling at approximately 3.30pm, and was taken to hospital with injuries to his face, lower left arm and left leg.

WHERE: Longfield Avenue, Fareham

WHEN: Monday December 12, 9.40pm

WHAT HAPPENED: A cyclist fell off her bike and hurt her ankle but had to wait more than an hour for an ambulance to turn up. She was later taken to the Queen Alexandra Hospital with minor injuries.

WHERE: Silvester Road, Cowplain

WHEN: Tuesday December 13, 8.15am

WHAT HAPPENED: A front porch was destroyed when a car ploughed into the front of a house. Police said they were called after reports of a collision between a van and silver Vauxhall Corsa. There were no reported injuries and the incident is being investigated.

WHERE: Brockhurst Road, Gosport

WHEN: Wednesday December 14, 4.20am

WHAT HAPPENED: A 21-year-old woman was arrested after losing control of her blue Citroen and smashing into a row of parked cars. The driver was taken to hospital with a head injury.

WHAT HAPPENED: Fire crews from the Portsmouth area were called to help bring a blaze at the services under control. The fire started in one of the restaurants and spread from there. There were no injuries reported.
