Residents across Horndean, Rowlands Castle, Clanfield and Petersfield have told police about what they think the force should be concentrating on.

In Rowlands Castle, burglaries from businesses have increased in recent months and officers will be offering advice to local firms to prevent them from becoming victims of crime.

People have also highlighted concerns about motorbike riding in Havant Thicket.

In Clanfield, there has been an increase in reports of thefts from vehicles.

In Horndean, the top priority for residents was tackling nuisance anti-social behaviour in the Merchistoun Hall area.

Work will continue with local schools and patrols will be stepped up.

The Butser division is a new grouping of officers for the police as villages south of Butser Hill were previously covered by Waterlooville and Havant police.

Sergeant Phil Shore said: ‘It’s important that our local neighbourhood policing teams receive feedback like this to ensure we are addressing the issues that affect you. I’d like to see even more people take part next time we carry out this survey in March, so that everyone gets to have their say.’
