POLICE have revealed more information about an armed robbery in Portsmouth.

Copnor Mini Mart in Copnor Road was targeted by a man carrying what police believe was a gun. Now they are appealing for information after the raid, which took place at 9.20pm on Thursday.

As reported, three men entered the store and bought a chocolate bar.

A short time later one of the men returned, discreetly showing the firearm and demanding cash – £30 was handed over by the cashier.

Detective Constable Lucia Davies said: ‘We know that customers were in the store before and after the incident.

‘We would be keen to trace these people along with anyone who was in the vicinity.’
