A MAN was threatened with a knife by two robbers in a late-night attack at his home.

The two attackers called at the 51-year-old victim’s home in King Albert Street, Landport, Portsmouth, and made their way into the property as if they knew him.

He was threatened with a knife and assaulted.

His Samsung mobile phone and £30 cash were stolen in the robbery, which happened between 2.20am and 2.40am on March 30.

The victim suffered a large bruise to the right side of his face and other facial injuries which were treated by paramedics.

The attackers fled from the address, possibly on bikes. They are white, in their early 20s and wore tracksuits. One has blond hair and the other has ginger hair.

Detective Constable Allison Fraser said: ‘The victim has been left shaken and frightened by what happened and is worried about his safety in his own home. This was an attack on a vulnerable adult who does not know who targeted him or why.’
