Robbery victim, 57, suffers broken ribs as he fights off two attackers at Titchfield Common
TWO thugs broke a man's ribs in a failed robbery when he fought them off near a park.
The 57-year-old was walking next to Course Park Crescent play area, near Primate Road, Titchfield Common, when the men in their 20s sprung their attack.
Police said one of the attackers, who were both in their 20s, white and 5ft 8ins tall, may have suffered injuries to his face when the victim fought him off.

It happened at 11.20pm on Saturday, February 8.
Fareham Inspector Richard Thompson said: ‘We appreciate that this is very concerning for the community, but please be reassured that incidents of this nature are not common in this area.
‘Officers will be following up enquiries in the area. In the meantime, please report any suspicious activity to us, and continue to be vigilant and look after one another when out walking at night.’
