A ROBBERY victim punched his attackers, police have revealed.

The 20-year-old was walking home in Winston Churchill Avenue, Portsmouth, after a night out at 1.45am on Saturday.

Two or three men approached him and he was knocked to the floor and hit in the head and body.

They ran off with his wallet, but he managed to hit them in the scuffle. The victim suffered bruising and grazes to his face, head, elbow and arms.

Two of the men were white, one 5ft 10in and one 6ft 2in. Call 101.
