SHOPLIFTER Anthony Hughes must pay compensation.

Hughes, 46, of no fixed address, admitted stealing alcohol from Londis at The Green, Rowlands Castle, on October 4 while subject to a six-month conditional discharge for another offence.

He was told to pay £50 costs and £6.99 compensation to the shop by Portsmouth magistrates.
