On-the-run murderer captured on CCTV at Havant church

A WANTED murderer with links to Hayling Island and Portsmouth has been captured on CCTV at a church in Havant.Â

Sussex police have released a new image of wanted man Jeremy Brabrooke, 56, who has absconded from Ford Prison.

On Friday, November 16, he was captured on CCTV at St Faith's Church in Havant.

Brabooke was sentenced to life imprisonment in 1988 for murder in Bradford, West Yorkshire.

He was last seen at HMP Ford on Wednesday November 14.

It was converted to an open prison in 1960 and an open prison has the minimum restriction on inmates' movements and activities.

Anyone who sees him or knows where he may be is asked to call 999.
