Scooter smashes car window as youths assault taxi driver in Portsmouth
POLICE officers are appealing for witnesses after a taxi driver was assaulted by a group of youngsters in Portsmouth.
According to reports, the driver was assaulted by the group on Sunday night.
A spokeswoman from Hampshire Constabulary said: '˜Just before 9.20pm on Sunday, September 9 officers received a report that a taxi driver had been attacked by a group of youths in Nessus Street. The taxi driver was assaulted and a scooter was used to smash one of taxi windows.'
