SERIAL shoplifter Joe Golds has been caught.

Golds, from Newcome Road, Kingston, Portsmouth, pleaded guilty to stealing meat in two separate thefts from a Co-op in London Road, North End, Portsmouth.

The 24-year-old pleaded guilty to stealing meat from Marks and Spencer in Commercial Road, Landport, Portsmouth.

The crimes were committed between August 13 and 26.

He was fined £75 and told to pay £20 to a fund for victims of crime and £40.50 compensation by magistrates.

Golds was ordered to pay £50 costs.
