A SERVICE will remember people who have died on the county’s roads.
Hampshire police’s Roads Policing Unit has organised the commemoration.
Friends and family of victims will attend at Christ Church in Winchester on November 15.
Chief Constable Andy Marsh said: ‘I cannot even begin to imagine the impact that losing a loved one on the roads must have on those left behind.
‘This memorial service provides an important opportunity for those united by loss to gather and remember their loved ones.
‘It also provides a chance to those in the emergency services who respond to collisions and deal with their impact during the course of their duties to join with the families and take the time to pause and remember. I am deeply honoured to be able to attend on behalf of the force.’
All are welcome to attend.
