THIEF Anthony Williams has been spared jail.

Williams, who lives care of Angerstein Road, Portsmouth, pleaded guilty to stealing £204 of perfume from The Cosmetic Company Store at Gunwharf Quays, Portsmouth.

The 32-year-old was sentenced to 28 days in jail suspended for six months by Portsmouth magistrates.

Williams was ordered to pay £80 to a fund for crime victims but no order for costs was made.
