A MAN caught flouting his anti-social behaviour order by begging has been jailed.

Joseph Barrett pleaded guilty to committing the offence by begging in Fareham on March 24.

Barrett, of no fixed abode, also pleaded guilty to failing to comply with a community order by not turning up for supervision on March 5.

Barrett admitted stealing food from Aldi in Gamble Road, Portsmouth, on April 5.

He was jailed for 12 weeks by Portsmouth magistrates.
