Portsmouth’s new top cop will ‘seek out’ criminals causing ‘havoc’ in communities

THIEF Dennis O’Malley has been jailed for four weeks by Portsmouth magistrates.

The 42-year-old, of no fixed abode, admitted stealing goods from Sainsbury’s in Portsmouth. He admitted possessing a foil lined box for use in connection with theft at the store.

O’Malley admitted failing to surrender to custody and to stealing lager from a city Co-op.

He also admitted stealing a bike from White Swan Road, Portsmouth, and goods from TK Maxx in The Cascades shopping centre in the city.
