SIX people have appeared in court charged with drug offences.

The charges follow a string of drugs raids across Portsmouth on Tuesday morning.

Police seized heroin and crack cocaine worth a round £7,000 in the operation.

Zoe Armstrong, 30, from Lumsden Road, Southsea, Jamie Stevens, 38, from Livesay Gardens, Portsmouth, Stuart Hall, 26, from Meriden Road, Southsea, and Lindsay Saunders, 32, from Earlsdon Street, Southsea, pleaded guilty to supplying Class A drugs at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court.

They will all appear at Portsmouth Crown Court on February 27.

Both Saunders and Armstrong were granted conditional bail by Judge David Gostling.

Daniel Ekong, 21 from Wingfield Street, Portsmouth, entered a no plea to the same charge and possession with intent to supply a Class A drug and will reappear at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court on February 13 before committal at Portsmouth Crown Court on March 20.

A 16-year-old boy from Cosham, who cannot be named for legal reasons, also pleaded guilty to supply of a Class A drug and will appear at youth court on March 1.
