AN attacker has been jailed for a string of crimes.

Emma Hart, of Beach Road, Southsea, admitted assaulting a woman in Fawcett Road, Southsea.

The 27-year-old pleaded guilty to stealing a bottle of wine and a bar of chocolate from a Co-op in the same street.

Hart admitted stealing chocolate, beer and pasties from a Co-op in Fratton Road, Portsmouth, and possessing a kitchen knife, at the same store.

Hart was sentenced to 42 days in prison by Portsmouth magistrates.
