Southsea beautician charged after inquiry into human trafficking for prostitution

A BEAUTICIAN has been charged after an investigation into human trafficking for prostitution.

Tingli Lu, of Castle Close, Southsea, was charged with possessing criminal property (money) on June 10, 2015; conspiring to control prostitution for gain between February 1, 2013 and June 11, 2015 and conspiring to traffic people for sexual exploitation into the UK between March 10, 2015 and June 11, 2015.

The 46-year-old was arrested and charged with three others as part of an investigation by Sussex Police. She is due to appear at Crawley Magistrates Court on September 7.
