A MOTORIST who had no licence has admitted drink-driving.

Steven Wood, of Goldsmith Avenue, Southsea, was caught out while driving a Ford Mondeo in Walmer Road, Fratton, on August 6.

A test revealed the 42-year-old’s breath contained 52 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres. The legal limit is 35mg.

Wood was told to pay £285 in a fine and costs by Portsmouth magistrates. He was banned from driving for a year.
