MAGISTRATES have fined a man who was caught carrying drugs.

Anton Edgar was found with cannabis at a house in Shanklin Road, Southsea.

Edgar, of Orchard Road, Southsea, pleaded guilty to possessing a class B drug when he appeared at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court.

The 28-year-old was fined £150 and told to pay £100 in costs.

The court ordered that the cannabis be destroyed.
