MAGISTRATES have fined a man for possessing cannabis.

Harvey Swales pleaded guilty to having the class B drug on him at his home in St Vincent Road, Southsea, on March 2.

The 42-year-old was given a 12-month conditional discharge and told to pay £50 in court costs by Portsmouth magistrates. An order was made for the drugs to be forfeited and destroyed.
