MAGISTRATES have fined a man who was caught with cannabis.

Paul Horrigan, of Victoria Road North, Southsea, had a small amount of the drug on him when he was searched by police.

The 41-year-old pleaded guilty to possession of a class B drug when he appeared at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court.

He was fined £50 and told to pay £100 in costs. The seized drugs will be destroyed.
