A MOTORIST was caught driving without insurance.

Soran Ahmad, 32, of Ockenden Close, Southsea, had denied committing the offence while driving a Honda in Fratton Road, Fratton, Portsmouth, on May 22.

But he was found guilty by Fareham magistrates.

Ahmad was given a 12-month conditional discharge. Six penalty points were added to his driving licence.
