RESIDENTS are hoping to cut speeding through their areas by setting up a community team to monitor bad driving.

Warsash Residents’ Association and Titchfield Village are launching their new Speedwatch Project on November 13 at the Silver Fern pub, Warsash Road at 10.30am.

There will be a demonstration of the equipment volunteers will be able to use to measure speed.

Anyone who would like to volunteer for the project – which is backed by police should go to the meeting.
