POLICE have charged with a man with burglary following a late-night break-in at a supermarket.

Graham Troup, 39, from Farm Road, Bracklesham Bay, West Sussex, has been charged with burglary at Tesco supermarket in South Street, Chichester.

The shop was burgled at 1.30am on Friday, January 30.

Two bottles of whisky were stolen.

Troup appeared at Brighton Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, January 31, and has been bailed until his next court appearance.
