A FIREBOMB was thrown at a house in Fareham.

Hampshire Constabulary is investigating the suspected arson, which took place on Friday at about 9pm.

Police said a bottle of ‘lit accelerant’ was thrown but hardly any damage was caused to the home, in Widley Court, and no-one was injured.

Det Con Sam Gee said: ‘This type of offence is very rare. We believe this address and its occupants were targeted specifically.’
