Taxi driver robbed of £100 in early-hours Southsea attack

A TAXI driver was robbed of £100 in an early-hours attack in Southsea.

The incident took place at 3.45am on Friday, December 9 after the driver dropped off a fare in Warwick Crescent.

Shortly afterwards three men entered his vehicle and took his change bag and wallet, before running off.

The main offender is described as 6ft, with a pale complexion and wearing a hoody.

Det Con David Sheppard said: ‘I would like to hear from anyone who witnessed this incident or may know who was involved.’
