A MAN has admitted fleeing a taxi without paying the fare.

Anthony Wotton committed the offence in Fareham on January 14.

The 21-year-old, of Southampton Road, Park Gate, was fined £25 and told to pay £18.60 compensation by Fareham magistrates.

He must pay £15 to a fund for crime victims and £85 in court costs.
